In the evening, meet your guide and fellow climbers during a traditional Nepali welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Here, you will get an overview of the expedition, safety briefings, and discuss the journey ahead.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive eastwards toward the Rolwaling region. Passing through charming towns and lush valleys, you will reach Gonggar Khola, your trailhead for the Pachermo Peak expedition. Overnight stay in a local guesthouse, preparing for the trek ahead.
Begin your trek through dense forests and suspension bridges. The trail gradually climbs, offering glimpses of snow-capped peaks in the distance. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Simigaon, where you will experience authentic village life.
The trek becomes more alpine as you ascend toward Dongkang. Along the trail, enjoy panoramic views of rugged ridges and cascading streams. Dongkang offers the perfect introduction to high-altitude trekking with its quiet, remote setting.
Entering the heart of the Rolwaling region, the trail passes traditional Sherpa settlements and terraced fields. Beding is a picturesque village, surrounded by towering peaks, glaciers, and pristine rivers. Overnight stay in local lodges and prepare for higher altitude trekking.
Today’s trek is steep and demanding, passing moraine trails and alpine meadows. The air becomes thinner, and the mountains grow larger with every step. Overnight stay in Nagaon, the gateway to the higher glacier region, allowing your body to adapt to altitude.
Spend the day at Nagaon for acclimatization. You may take short hikes around the village, explore the surrounding terrain, and prepare your gear for the glacier trek ahead. Rest and hydration are essential for a safe climb.
Ascending further, the landscape transforms into rocky ridges, glacial streams, and high alpine terrain. Chugima is a small high-altitude settlement, where you will spend the night in a tented camp, absorbing breathtaking mountain vistas.
The trek takes you into the glacial zone, where crevasses, ice formations, and snowfields dominate the landscape. Under the guidance of expert Sherpa climbers, you will practice glacier navigation, ensuring safety for the coming summit push. Overnight at Jaboo Glacier Camp.
The final trek to High Camp is challenging but rewarding. Trekking on snow and rocky moraine, you will arrive at Pachermo High Camp, set against the backdrop of towering peaks. Overnight stay in tents, preparing for the summit attempt.
At dawn, begin the ascent to Pachermo Peak. Navigate snow slopes, icy sections, and exposed ridgelines under expert guidance. The summit rewards you with awe-inspiring 360-degree Himalayan vistas. After celebrating this incredible achievement, descend safely to Pachermo High Camp for rest.
Descend through the high alpine terrain via the Tashi Lapcha Pass. Enjoy the shifting landscapes of glaciers, rock formations, and valleys. Overnight stay at Thengma, reflecting on the journey and the summit experience.
Continue descending through forests, rivers, and Sherpa villages. Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, offers markets, cafes, and cultural experiences. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.
The trek concludes with a descent through pine forests and scenic trails, arriving in Lukla. Prepare for your flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Lukla guesthouse.
